The courses give students babysitting information to ensure children stay safe while in the protection of their caretakers. The classes are designed to prepare students ages 11 and older for the basics of babysitting.
The training provides the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for infants and children up to age 10, as well as how to manage a babysitting business. Particular aspects of the class include managing the business of babysitting, playing with kids of all ages, caring for kids, and determining what to do in an emergency. Each student who completes the class with an 80 percent or better is officially certified and receives a printable diploma.
