Be SAFE Day – July

The local American Red Cross, in partnership with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, will host its second Be SAFE Day event next Saturday, July 27. The event, which is being held to increase fire safety awareness and promote preparedness, will take place at the Hazelwood YMCA from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is to feature firetrucks, preparedness stations, and an educational obstacle course. Residents can also sign up to have smoke detectors installed in their homes by the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. All citizens are invited to attend.
